Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Maryland network in Rockville. The PA will administer PT treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, document patient progress, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes documentation, CPT coding accuracy, and adherence to insurance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires degree from an accredited PTA program.
• State licensure as a PTA in the practicing state.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience with computers and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with documentation.
• Perform tests and measurements (strength, ROM, functional status).
• Administer PT services as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate patient progress to supervising PT.
• Meet productivity expectations per CAO standards.
• Document treatments and CPT codes in patient records.
