Job summary

The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) is one of the nation’s largest orthopaedics practices, with over 60 locations and ~2,000 employees. This PTA role supports clinical growth with extensive continuing education and collaboration between therapists and physicians.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience with computers and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care 100% of work time, including documentation in medical records.
• Performs tests and measurements for strength, ROM, sensory perception, function, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Administers treatment under supervision of PT to decrease pain and improve range of motion and function.
• Communicates progress with supervising PT and updates treatment plan as directed.
• Meets or exceeds CAO productivity standards.
• Documents treatments and outcomes per regulations and CAO requirements.
• Abides by insurance guidelines for coverage and reimbursement.
