Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics (CAO) is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Staff therapy team in Baltimore. The PT will administer treatments based on evaluations, restore function, and work independently or with staff as needed.

We offer a collaborative environment with over 2,000 employees across multiple locations. CAO emphasizes continuing education with quarterly webinars, MedBridge access, in-person CE courses, and a generous CE budget.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in the practicing state.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience and proficiency with electronic medical records.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care full-time with accurate documentation in medical records.
• Conducts comprehensive evaluations to determine treatment plans.
• Performs tests and measurements: strength, ROM, sensory, function.
• Administers PT treatments to reduce pain and improve function.
• Documents progress and outcomes per regulations and CAO requirements.
• Supervises PTA and support staff as allowed by state regulations.
• Collaborates with other clinicians to optimize patient recovery.
• Participates in team meetings and CAO-sponsored events.
