Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our Staff therapy team in Maryland. You will evaluate patients, determine care plans, and deliver comprehensive PT treatments to improve function and reduce pain.

The role includes supervising assistants and coordinating with medical staff to ensure optimal outcomes. CAO emphasizes continuing education with webinars, Medbridge, and in-person courses, supported by a generous CE budget.

Qualifications

A degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
State licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
Experience and proficiency with computers and electronic medical records.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care and documents in patients' medical records.
Conducts comprehensive evaluations to determine appropriate course of care and follow-up treatments.
Performs tests and measurements such as strength, ROM, sensory perception, and functional capacity.
Administers physical therapy treatments and monitors progress to decrease pain and improve function.
Supervises physical therapist assistants and related staff as applicable and per state regulations.
Collaborates with other medical providers to ensure positive patient outcomes.
