Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver patient-centered care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will conduct tests, document progress, and contribute to a comprehensive plan of care aimed at reducing pain and restoring function.

In this role, you will collaborate with therapists and physicians, maintain accurate CPT coding for billing, and support CAO’s standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and documents in medical records.
• Performs tests and measurements (e.g., strength, ROM, functional capacity).
• Administers treatment under PT direction to reduce pain and improve function.
• Communicates progress to supervising PT and implements plan changes as directed.
• Meets CAO productivity standards and maintains charting with CPT codes.
• Ensures compliance with insurance guidelines and facilitates referrals.
