Required is a PTA degree with active licensure; CPR certification preferred. Responsibilities include implementing plans, documenting progress, and educating patients and families on exercises and safety. Team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Licenses: Current valid PTA licensure or certification.
• Certifications: CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises and modalities.
• Observe patient responses, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on patient responses and progress.
• Instruct patients and families on exercise techniques, safety, and home progress strategies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
