Job summary

Synchrony seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Lafayette, Indiana, to assist Physical Therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and contribute to comprehensive patient care under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current PTA license or certification
• Current CPR certification, preferred
• Education: degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, manual therapy and modalities.
• Observe patient responses and progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient progress and responses for review by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises, safety, and home progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
