Synchrony is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Lafayette, IN. You will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to deliver therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting, adhering to professional standards and ethics.

Role requires PTA licensure or certification, CPR preferred, and 0-1 years of experience. Benefits include weekly pay, health/dental/vision coverage after the first month, 401(k) match, student loan repayment, and more.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.
• Licenses: PTA licensure or certification (current) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and home progress strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
