Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Part-time Program Manager - Physical Therapist for our assisted living community in Thronwood, NY. This role offers 10-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy or related.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as PT/OT/SLP and/or license eligible.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or related healthcare field.
• Supervisory or management experience in healthcare preferred, rehab therapy.
• Leadership and team management abilities for a multidisciplinary team.
• Clinical knowledge of rehabilitation principles, practices, and patient care protocols.
• Strong communication skills for staff, patients, families, and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and regulatory compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Management: supervise therapy staff, hiring, performance appraisals, and promote a positive team atmosphere.
• Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance: maintain clinical caseload and ensure high-quality services per standards.
• Program Development & Growth: expand therapy programs and collaborate with hospitals and community.
• Operational Management: oversee scheduling and ensure proper documentation per Medicare and company guidelines.
• Problem Resolution & Staff Support: address issues and provide ongoing staff training.
• Compliance & Safety: stay compliant with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid and related laws.
