Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Sayville, NY is seeking a full-time Program Manager - Occupational Therapist to lead the therapy team in an assisted living community. The role oversees clinical services, staff supervision, and program development, with no evenings or weekends and a patient-centered approach to care.

You will coordinate scheduling, ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid), monitor quality, and collaborate with hospital partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in occupational or physical therapy.
• Valid state licensure as OT/PT or license eligible.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or related healthcare field.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise clinical therapy staff, including hiring and performance appraisals.
• Maintain clinical caseload and ensure high-quality therapy services.
• Develop and expand therapy programs and initiatives.
• Oversee scheduling of patients and therapists and ensure coverage.
• Investigate and resolve issues, provide staff education and training.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and regulations.
