Job summary

National Fitness Partners, State College location, seeks a Customer Service Representative to deliver a superior Judgement Free member experience at Planet Fitness. You will assist members, prospective members and guests with sign-ups and information, upholding our welcoming culture.

Starting at $11 per hour for a part-time schedule, with increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months thereafter, based on anniversary date. Growth opportunities and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to members and new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
