Job summary

Planet Fitness in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative at Keystone location. Starting at $12.00 per hour with increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Responsibilities include delivering a superior member experience, greeting and signing up members, answering phones, logging amenities, and promoting fitness classes. Availability Fridays and Saturdays afternoons/evenings is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or strong people skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for POS and signups.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Greet members, sign up new members, and tour facilities.
• Answer phones and log amenities in the system.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases via POS.
• Promote fitness classes and member programs.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members

Qualifications: Job Requirements

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
