Job summary

Planet Fitness in Flourtown, PA is hiring a Customer Service Representative to greet members, answer questions, sign up new members, and maintain a welcoming, clean club environment, delivering a Judgement Free experience.

This part-time position starts at $11 per hour with weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday 3pm - 7:15pm) and potential weekday hours. Benefits include PTO for all employees, an Employee Assistance Program, and free Planet Fitness Black Card membership.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn POS system.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Hours may be available during the week.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
