Job summary

Planet Fitness in Cheltenham-Wyncote, PA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet members, answer questions, and process sign-ups with a welcoming, Judgement Free approach.

You will work part-time with schedule-based raises at 180 days and after milestones, plus benefits like PTO and an Employee Assistance Program. Candidates should have prior customer service experience and basic computer skills, be at least 18, and ready to contribute to a friendly club environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner following information script.
• Greet members and guests, sign up new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new signups.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Salary Range: $11.00 - $13.00

Part- Time: Starting at $XX per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
