Job summary

Planet Fitness in Clifton Heights, PA is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative to help members and guests with sign-ups, questions, and a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers starting pay of $11 per hour with raises at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months after the first year.

Proactive team members can grow into management roles within the nationwide Planet Fitness network. A friendly, clean club environment, shift-differential pay for select shifts, PTO, and an Employee

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members and guests, sign up new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote Planet Fitness classes and programs to members and new signups.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script


• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.


• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner


• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system


• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members


• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling


• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.


• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift


• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift


• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
