Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring a Judgement Free experience.
• Answer phones using a script in a friendly manner.
• Greet and sign up new members, tour them, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process POS purchases for beverages or merchandise.
• Promote fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to members.
• Keep club environment clean, sanitized and safe.

• Job Location: L051 Monroe – Monroe, NC 28110
• Part‑Time: Starting at $11 per hour
• Availability: Monday – Thursday 10:00pm – 2:00am
• Hourly increases at 180days, 1year and every 6months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift.
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.
