Job summary

Planet Fitness in State College, PA is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative. This part-time role focuses on delivering a superior member experience, greeting guests, answering calls, and assisting with sign-ups and tours while upholding the Judgement Free environment.

Starting at $11 per hour with scheduled increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every six months after the first year, benefits include PTO, employee assistance, and a free Black Card membership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members and sign up new members, log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
