Job summary

Planet Fitness Harrisburg North is hiring for a part-time member services associate. Starting wage is $11 per hour with increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months thereafter.

Shifts are Monday through Friday from 4:45 AM to 10:30 AM. Duties include greeting members, signing up new members, answering phones, handling merchandise and beverage sales, and keeping the club clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, guests and prospective members.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
