Job summary

Planet Fitness Lancaster is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative in Lancaster, SC to deliver exceptional member experiences at our club. The role requires weekday and weekend availability and provides growth opportunities with hourly wage progression.

Starting pay is $11 per hour with scheduled increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every six months thereafter, based on anniversary dates. A friendly, energetic team environment awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Answer phones using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, log amenities.
• Respond to member questions promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases via the point of sale system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
