Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner program.
• NPI, CDS/DEA prescriptive authority per NJ law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents history and physical assessments appropriate for patient age and clinical problem.
• Orders, performs, and interprets labs and diagnostic studies with physicians.
• Manages medical/surgical conditions with pharmacologic knowledge.
• Prescribes medications safely in line with NJ regulations and best practices.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team and participates in rounds and care coordination.
• Participates in clinical education, research discussions, and quality improvement.
