Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maintains clinical competencies with continuing education.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA per NJ law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents comprehensive histories and physicals by age group.
• Orders, performs, and interprets labs and diagnostics with physicians.
• Manages general medical/surgical conditions with current knowledge.
• Prescribes medications safely and provides patient education.
• Promotes APN practice recognition through conferences and publications.
• Provides patient- and family-centered care and education.
