Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Psychiatric Technician I - PRN to join our Russellton, PA team. The role supports adult residents in the Residential Program, helping carry out treatment plan goals and provide direct care.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, at least 6 months of related mental health experience, knowledge of recovery principles, and a valid driver's license. All OMHSAS clearances are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months paid or volunteer experience in a related mental health field required.
• Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness and recovery principles required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• All Clearances required by OMHSAS.

Responsibilities

Position Details

The Psychiatric Technician I position works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all adult residents in the Residential Program including mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. The individual participates in carrying out residents’ treatment plan goals and assisting with the treatment planning process, as well as providing support with direct care responsibilities.
