Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living at Bay Square in Yarmouth is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA/PSS/CNA) to join our warm, home-like community. You will support residents with daily activities and provide emotional care.

This part-time evening role (Thu-Sat 2p-10p) offers additional part-time and per diem opportunities, with pay ranging $19.50-$20.75 per hour. Training and a supportive team culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA/PSS license preferred
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required
• Experience working with residents with dementia desired

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bath, dress, grooming, toileting)
• Document care provided and report changes in health or behavior
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
• Apply customer service skills to ensure quality, compassionate care
• Perform other duties as needed

Part Time Evenings Thursday-Saturday 2p-10p

Additional Part Time and Per Diem Opportunities!

$19.50-$20.75/HR

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA/PSS license preferred
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
