Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support residents at Bay Square at Yarmouth in Maine. This part-time evening role from Thursday to Saturday 2p-10p includes duties such as helping residents with ADLs, ensuring comfort, and providing emotional support in a home-like setting.

Qualifications

• Compassionate caregiving experience or aptitude is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for resident interactions.
• Experience or comfort working with residents with dementia is desired.

Bay Square at Yarmouth is looking for a compassionate PCA/PSS/CNA to join our team! As a Personal Care Assistant your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Part Time Evenings Thursday-Saturday 2p-10p

Additional Part Time and Per Diem Opportunities!

$19.50-$20.75/HR

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA/PSS license preferred
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
