Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living, Bay Square at Yarmouth, ME, is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join their team. This part-time evening role runs Thursday to Saturday 2p-10p, with additional opportunities for part-time and per diem work.

Compensation ranges from $19.50 to $20.75 per hour with a robust benefits package. As a PCA, you will support residents with daily activities, document care, and help maintain a warm, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• CNA/HHA/LNA/PSS license preferred.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure quality care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Bay Square at Yarmouth is looking for a compassionate PCA/PSS/CNA to join our team! As aPersonal Care Assistant your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Part Time Evenings Thursday-Saturday 2p-10p

Additional Part Time and Per Diem Opportunities!

$19.50-$20.75/HR

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA/PSS license preferred
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
