Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Yarmouth, ME is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA/PSS/CNA) to join our team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care in a warm, home-like environment. Part Time Days 6am-2pm with additional FT, PT and Per Diem opportunities.

You will assist residents with activities of daily living, document care, and provide emotional support while engaging residents in meaningful activities. Prior CNA/HHA/LNA/PSS licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA/PSS license preferred.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes in health or behavior to staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Using customer service skills to ensure residents receive meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Bay Square at Yarmouth is looking for a compassionate PCA/PSS/CNA to join our team! As a Personal Care Assistant your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Part Time Days 6am-2pm

Additional Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem Opportunities!

$19.50-$20.75/HR

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA/PSS license preferred
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
