Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Mount Pleasant, NY is seeking a compassionate part-time PCA to deliver attentive care in a home-like setting. The role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities in a warm environment.

Shifts available: Friday through Monday, 7a-3p and 3p-11p. A CNA/HHA/LNA license is required, with dementia experience preferred to support our residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred but not required
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes to staff
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure residents receive compassionate care
• Other duties as needed

Shifts available: Friday through Monday; 7a-3p and 3p-11p

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
