Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Performs appointment and access-related duties: scheduling, canceling, rescheduling, and providing general appointment information.
  • Uses Maestro Care (Epic) and other systems to perform scheduling tasks.
  • Coordinates services across Duke Health locations, departments and providers.
  • Communicates verbally and in writing with patients, referring providers, colleagues, and Duke Providers.
  • Reviews provider templates in EPIC vs QGenda to ensure accuracy.
  • Verifies provider schedules and adjusts as needed to ensure correct patient appointments.
  • Manages patient intake: creates new patient folders and referrals.
  • Completes reimbursements for providers in Concur and handles supply orders in Buy@Duke.
  • Manages calendars for student learners and assists with scheduling conference rooms and meetings.
