Job summary

Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island is seeking an Associate Provider Relations Representative in Smithfield, RI to support provider outreach and education on compliance with health plan operations. You will train providers, manage data, run Salesforce reports, and collaborate across departments to resolve inquiries.

The role emphasizes maintaining accurate provider data, improving the provider experience, and supporting broader provider relations initiatives within a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or related field.
• Experience with a managed care organization or health care related organization (e.g. HMO, Medicaid, Medicare).
• Excellent Customer Service and communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Handle provider training tracking and outreach processes.
• Run reports out of Salesforce, review and follow-up as needed.
• Add, update, and maintain provider data in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure provider email distribution lists are accurate and up to date.
• Triage and resolve Provider Relations requests from other departments in a timely manner.
• Support provider relations activities to improve provider experience and satisfaction.
