• At least 1 year of customer service, provider services, or claims experience.
• Understanding of the health care delivery system, including government plans.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication; able to interface with providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for provider-related inquiries and maintain provider satisfaction for non-complex providers.
• Research and resolve provider inquiries including claims and eligibility.
• Educate providers on changes to regulations and access to information.
• Support other provider relations team members in the field.
• Document provider requests per procedures.
• Support provider relations mailbox and correspondence.
• Attend off-site meetings with medical groups and providers.
• Travel regularly throughout designated regions to meet needs.
