Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a proactive Provider Engagement Specialist to join the Provider Engagement team supporting the San Antonio market. This field-based role travels ~80% to provider offices across San Antonio, Bexar County, and surrounding areas, building trusted relationships and improving performance metrics.

You will present performance insights, educate providers on Alignment programs, develop materials, and support strategies that help practices succeed while delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience in provider relations or contracting.
• Experience with HMO/IPA, medical group, or institutional providers preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Organized, detail oriented and self-starter with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with providers and staff to support growth and retention.
• Improve performance on KPIs such as AWVs, HEDIS, and utilization.
• Onboard providers and educate on Alignment programs and tools.
• Prepare training materials and provider implementation packets.
• Coordinate provider meetings, document actions, and track outcomes.
