Job summary

Alignment Health seeks a proactive, relationship-driven Provider Engagement Specialist for the San Antonio market. This field-based role travels approximately 80% to provider offices, educating practices on Alignment programs and improving performance metrics across quality and utilization.

Responsibilities include onboarding providers, presenting performance insights, and maintaining engagement records while supporting network expansion and community events. B.A./B.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years related experience and/or training in provider relations/contracting.
• Bachelor’s degree required; multilingual skills are a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; strong communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with providers and staff to support growth and performance.
• Partner with providers to improve KPIs including AWVs, HEDIS gaps, and utilization.
• Onboard providers and educate them on Alignment tools and initiatives.
• Develop training materials and implementation packets for providers.
• Serve as single point of resolution for provider issues (UM, prior auth, claims, directory).
• Maintain activity databases and produce weekly summaries; attend staff meetings.
