Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a data services professional to support finance and underwriting teams through routine data entry, provider record audits, and responsive customer/member inquiries. Under supervision, you will apply established procedures and collaborate with colleagues to ensure accuracy and timely deliverables.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of healthcare or data entry experience and be proficient with Microsoft Office; SQL knowledge and Excel data handling are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of healthcare and/or data entry experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Excel, Word, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedures to execute routine business support tasks for the Data Services function, under general supervision.
• Supports the Finance department, interacting with key Underwriting and Account Management specialists for optimal deliverables.
• Enters baseline demographic transactions into the provider directory to support claim adjudication procedures and progress.
• Performs data service intake triage, subsequently reviewing details to effectively respond to customer/member inquiries.
• Conducts regular audits of provider information, escalating any issues or concerns to management for swift resolution.
• Supports Data Services Change Management and Process Optimization strategies, in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Takes direction from management to properly understand and execute key work area techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
• Responds to auditor data requests, questions, and discrepancies, in order to ensure collective data integrity and quality of work.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
