Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks a Manager Provider Compensation to lead the team in developing, implementing, and reviewing provider compensation programs and agreements with significant financial scope.

You will supervise staff daily, ensure accurate payroll and modeling, manage FMV processes, partner with legal and contracting on employment agreements, and collaborate with senior leadership on strategic compensation initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field required
Three years in a supervisory or management capacity required
Masters in a related discipline preferred (work experience in large integrated medical group a plus)

Responsibilities

Oversee provider compensation operations including payroll, accounting, financial reporting and compensation calculations
Lead compensation reporting, forecasting, budgeting and data analysis across service lines
Ensure data accuracy, wRVU validation and audits of provider payroll and compensation
Manage provider compensation workflows and systems with cross-functional teams
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines; communicate risks to leadership
Develop and lead the Provider Compensation team through mentoring and project oversight
