American Battery Solutions Inc. in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Prototype Build Technician to perform hands-on assembly, debugging, and verification of prototype battery pack systems.

You will work with the engineering team to build products to meet customer requirements and company goals. The role requires at least two years of manufacturing or related field experience, familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement across multiple shifts.

Competenze

• Two+ years of college studies in a related field (CAD/CAE/Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience in electrification assembly line/high voltage/electrical component handling/battery manufacturing.
• Two+ years of manufacturing or mechanic experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Able to work in a flexible team environment.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Demonstrates continual improvement mindset in processes and results.
• Strong communications skills; effective information exchange.
• Focus on quality; drives results with a sense of urgency.

Mansioni

• Assemble and build prototype mechanical and electrical components to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure products meet specifications and goals.
• Lead TPM-related maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
• Report prototyping issues to AME, Production Engineering, and Launch Manager.
• Support weekend and off-shift work as required.
• Assist with PFMEA and work instruction reviews.
