Job summary

American Battery Solutions in Lake Orion, MI seeks a Prototype Build Technician to assemble, debug, and verify prototype battery pack systems. This hands-on role collaborates with the engineering team to meet customer requirements and company goals.

You will perform maintenance tasks, support TPM initiatives, and participate in PFMEA and process improvement efforts while providing support for other facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of college studies in CAD/CAE or related field.
• Manufacturing or mechanic experience required.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems desired.
• Able to work in a flexible team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build prototype products to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering to meet project goals.
• Assemble complex prototype mechanical and electrical components.
• Support TPM and maintenance activities as needed.
