Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is hiring a Battery Build Technician for the 2nd shift on a contract basis in California.

You will build prototype battery modules and packs, train newer Production Associates, and set up work instructions to ensure quality and safety across the battery production line. The role requires following precise assembly instructions, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with Production and Design teams to resolve issues and improve throughput.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience creating and following instructions to build complex assemblies with precision.
• Ability to work 2nd shift and lift up to 50 pounds when required.

Responsibilities

• Build prototype sample battery modules and packs and learn every element of battery production.
• Train next wave of Battery Production Associates to future prototype samples and Production level packs.
• Set up work instructions and quality points on battery production process.
• Set up tiered board to measure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People Development.
• Setup workstations and eliminate any safety issue or ergonomic issues.
• Work closely with Production and Design team to identify, support root cause, and eliminate all throughput and quality related issues.
