Job summary

Harbinger Motors in California is seeking a Battery Manufacturing team member to help produce all battery modules and packs for the Vehicle Build Program. You will support both prototype and production builds and learn every element of battery production.

You will set up work instructions, train staff, and work closely with Production and Design teams to identify root causes and improve throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and following instructions to build complex assemblies with precision.
• Must maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
• Detail-oriented, resourceful and diligent.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• English communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Build prototype sample battery modules and packs and learn every element of battery production.
• Train next wave of Battery Production Associates to future prototype samples and Production level packs.
• Set up work instructions and quality points on battery production process.
• Set up tiered board to measure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People Development.
• Setup workstations and eliminate any safety issue or ergonomic issues.
• Work closely with Production and Design team to identify, support root cause, and eliminate all throughput and quality related issues.
• Be able to work in a team environment with a Can-do attitude.
• Able to carefully follow instructions to build quality in station.
