Job summary

IBA Proton Therapy in New Jersey seeks an experienced technician to operate and maintain the Proton Therapy System (PTS). You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform preventative maintenance, conduct inspections, and communicate status to leadership.

You will support testing, participate in unit/integration validation activities, train technicians, and work rotating shifts with occasional weekends. Travel ~10% and strict QA/security compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Responsible for operating and maintaining the Proton Therapy System (PTS) and troubleshooting hardware/software.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, system inspections, and QA/documentation per customer/site requirements.
• Support unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and other site-related activities as defined by Site Leadership.
• Train and mentor Technicians and new colleagues; adapt to rotating shifts and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Proton Therapy System (PTS) and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and system upgrades as needed.
• Conduct inspections and report system status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support hardware/software testing and participate in testing/validation activities.
