Job summary

IBA is a leader in Proton Therapy and related diagnostics. The role focuses on operating and maintaining the Proton Therapy System (PTS), troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventative maintenance and testing.

You will work with cross-functional teams to support hardware and software testing and ensure safety and quality across sites. A strong background in electrical, mechanical and software systems, plus hands-on problem-solving skills, is essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Physics or other applicable field, or an Associate's degree with 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years' experience in electrical/mechanical/software system repair, troubleshooting, maintenance of large integrated systems.
• Knowledge of Linux, SAP, Siemens Step 7, and ServiceMax is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and deploy the Proton Therapy System (PTS) for various customer needs, including QA, development, software/hardware testing, troubleshooting and experimentation.
• Troubleshoot PTS equipment, covering electrical, mechanical and software problems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, system upgrades and corrective maintenance as required.
• Inspect systems and clearly communicate status to leadership and site teams.
