Job summary

IBA Worldwide in Miami, FL is seeking a hands-on Engineer to install, operate and maintain our Proton Therapy System (PTS). You will troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, support testing, and contribute to system upgrades in clinical operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and hands-on experience with electronics, electrical systems, and large mechanical systems. You will mentor colleagues, train customers, and serve as the primary technical contact on site.

Qualifications

Experience in electronics/electrical troubleshooting.
Mechanical system design and repair experience.
Ability to work autonomously on well-defined tasks.

Responsibilities

Install, operate and maintain the Proton Therapy System.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, software, and integrated system issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and system upgrades.
Support hardware/software testing with minimal disruption.
Collaborate with Engineering and R&D to improve reliability and clinical performance.
Mentor and train customers on safe operation.
