SystImmune, Inc. in Bothell, WA, seeks a Research Associate II or Senior Research Associate to join the AIDD Protein Science Automation team.

This role focuses on wet-lab experimentation in protein science and assay development and will own routine experiments and data, while helping build out the new automation wet lab on-site. The successful candidate will perform cell-free expression, purification, and assay workflows with defined controls, generate reproducible data, and transfer validated

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on recombinant protein expression and purification experience.
• Experience with protein assays such as AlphaLISA, ELISA, BLI, SDS-PAGE.
• Experience with cell-free protein synthesis (CFPS) preferred.
• Completion of standard laboratory safety and data-integrity training on hire.

Aufgaben

• Protein Expression and Purification: prepare DNA templates and run cell-free expression reactions; purify and assess protein quality.
• Assay Execution and Screening: run primary screens and support confirmation; manage setup, data QC, and protocol optimization.
• Method Development and Documentation: define controls, SOPs, data review templates; maintain records and batch docs.
• Lab Build-Out: contribute to setting up the automation wet lab and robot-based workflows.
