Job summary

SystImmune, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scientist to join the Protein Engineering group in Bothell, WA to advance novel therapeutic antibodies and ADCs.

The role emphasizes data analysis, project management, and translating results into decisions that move programs forward. The ideal candidate has deep industry antibody engineering expertise, can work independently to meet deadlines, and will eventually supervise research associates while staying current with AI/ML and computational methods.

Qualifications

• PhD required in biochemistry/biophysics/molecular biology/structural biology/cell biology
• 5+ years of industry experience
• Strong data analysis skills
• Competency in AI/ML and computational methods
• Experience with protein engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance antibody engineering programs, including bi-specific and multi-specific formats
• Design, execute, and interpret experiments; manage timelines; inform decisions
• Apply AI/ML tools to protein engineering and data analysis workflows
• Mentor junior scientists and supervise research associates over time
• Maintain accurate LIMS records and ensure safety compliance
