Job summary

SystImmune, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scientist to join the Protein Engineering group in Bothell, WA. The role focuses on advancing novel therapeutic antibodies, including bispecific/multispecific formats and ADCs, through discovery and development.

Expect independent work, data-driven decision making, and potential supervision of research associates. The ideal candidate has hands-on antibody engineering expertise, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to translate results into program

Qualifications

PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, structural biology, cell biology, or related field.
5+ years of industry experience.
Strong understanding of antibody engineering.
Ability to manage timelines and work independently.
Experience with protein purification and molecular biology techniques.

Responsibilities

Lead target projects: literature reviews, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, compile data reports.
Design, optimize, and characterize antibody candidates, including bi-specific/multi-specific formats.
Stay current with novel techniques and introduce state-of-the-art approaches to accelerate timelines.
Work independently to meet high-demand deadlines across drug development programs.
Mentor junior scientists and supervise research associates over time.
