Flagship Pioneering's FL116 in Cambridge, MA seeks a Research Associate II to expand protein production capabilities across bulk expression, purification, and high-throughput panels. You will execute scalable workflows, maintain rigorous traceability, and collaborate with Protein Engineering, Chemistry, and Assay Development to align production with program timelines.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on recombinant protein production experience, proficiency with ÄKTA FPLC/UNICORN, and a track record

Formación

• Hands-on experience with recombinant protein expression and production workflows in E. coli.
• Experience in multi-liter culture growth and harvest; scalable purification know-how.
• Independently design, execute, troubleshoot purification methods in UNICORN.

Responsabilidades

• Execute multi-liter expression campaigns from culture through harvest and lysis.
• Design and run preparative purification on ÄKTA FPLC with UNICORN.
• Deliver milligram- to gram quantities of protein with high purity.
• Troubleshoot low yield, insolubility, aggregation, and proteolysis; optimize workflows.
• Perform parallel, plate-based expression and analytics for large panels.
• Operate and improve liquid handlers and automated purification systems.
