Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC seeks an experienced technician to install, program, test, and maintain protective relaying and metering systems in transmission and distribution environments.

You will diagnose faults, interpret schematics, and coordinate repairs across teams while adhering to safety standards and NETA guidelines. The role requires travel and hands-on work in utilities, data centers and industrial sites.

Qualifications

• NetA / NICET certification preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NFPA, NEC and OSHA standards.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and manuals.
• U.S. work authorization required and willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Program, install and maintain protective relaying and metering systems.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair relays, breakers, transformers and switchgear.
• Interpret test results and electrical diagrams to locate faults.
• Coordinate testing and repairs with other departments and teams.
• Maintain safety practice and document test results for client review.
