Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC is hiring for a field service role focused on the installation, programming, testing, and maintenance of protective relaying and metering systems used in transmission and distribution.

You will diagnose issues, interpret schematics, and coordinate repairs across industrial environments. The work involves traveling to client sites, performing high‑voltage testing with PPE, and ensuring compliance with NETA/IEEE/NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant electrical experience OR an associate’s degree with 4+ years or a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant electrical experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%–50%.
• Proficiency with protective relays, metering, calibration, and programming.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, program, and maintain protective relays and metering equipment.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and analyze test results to locate defective equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements; operate in energized electrical rooms, vaults, and substations.
