Job summary

M.c.-Dean,-Inc. is seeking a skilled field technician to install, test, and maintain protective relaying and metering systems in transmission and distribution networks.

You will interpret schematics, perform diagnostic tests, and coordinate repairs across substations and industrial facilities. The role requires strong safety practices, hands-on testing with high-voltage equipment, and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally as needed, in a demanding industrial

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical experience OR associate/bachelor degree combinations as listed.
• Valid U.S. Work Authorization.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain protective relaying and metering systems for transmission and distribution.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and program relays, switchgear, transformers, and related equipment.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and substation drawings; ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate testing and repairs with other departments; handle emergency callouts as needed.
• Maintain thorough test reports and documentation for client reviews.
