POWERX Co is seeking a P&C Test Engineer to perform field testing and commissioning for protection and control systems across the Southern U.S. You will verify relay logic, trip paths, and control circuits while contributing to safety programs and process standardization.

The role requires strong procedure writing, schematic interpretation, and proficiency with Doble, Omicron, and RTS software. Occasional travel to utility and municipal sites is anticipated, with a focus on quality and

Qualifications

• Must possess strong procedure writing and test planning abilities.
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with relay protection testing equipment (Doble/Omicron/RTS).
• Safety-first mindset with ability to follow complex SOPs and JHAs.

Responsibilities

• Field testing including relay protection, breaker, transformer, and instrument transformer testing.
• End-to-end testing, validating relay logic and trip paths.
• Develop procedures, checkouts, and commissioning plans; generate professional reports.
