Alabama Power's Protection & Control Field Services Supervisor (Support) role seeks a seasoned leader to oversee the P&C FS Support group, provide technical guidance on protection and control, and drive safety and performance across field operations.

Based in Alabama with flexibility to work at Hueytown or other APC P&C FS offices, the position emphasizes budget oversight, compliance with PRC-5 and CIP, and developing staff through formal training and feedback.

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited engineering degree or Engineering Technology degree with years of field experience.
• Experience in protection and control field testing preferred.
• PE license highly preferred.
• Strong supervisory experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and direction to P&C FS Support group.
• Ensure safety as a core value and model safety principles.
• Oversee budgeting and compliance with NERC standards.
• Provide technical guidance on protection and control issues.
• Coordinate resources and training for staff.
